Which Should You Use? Time or Project Based Billing

Many service providers eventually come to the point of asking themselves and others whether or not their billing should be based on a flat project rate or if they should charge by the hour. Deciding which method to use can be a point of confusion for many service providers. They could underbid to do too much work for too little pay if they charge by the project; yet, if they charge by the hour then they have to worry about time tracking and client sticker shock.
