What Can I Add To This Group?
When I saw this group, I hesitated about joining it, thinking "What have I got to offer
to other members - nothing!"
Then I rethought it - I'm retired now, and have lived mostly a good life, but with a
few bad times mixed in. Surely some of those experiences may help others, at
least in letting them know that they are not alone with their problems.
That's often the way people feel, isn't it? That no-one else can possibly understand
what they are going through, and they are so alone.
Coming out of that lonely state, finding someone to talk to, reaching out and taking
someone's hand - these are the little things that help the most. But finding the
courage to actually come out and ask for help, that's one of the hardest things
to do. Admitting that you have a problem is extremely difficult, isn't it?
If there's a question anyone has, or a problem that's weighing on their mind, please
don't keep it to yourself! Share it - somebody out there feels exactly as you do,
and somebody else has the answer to your query.
Try it - you'll feel better when you do, and the answer is just waiting around
the corner.

Thanks for your comments, Becky & Joseph.
Certainly do agree that action cures fear. Sometimes you can even take the
fear and use it to stimulate yourself further.
And I'm working on the marketing still - getting a little better at it, but a long
way to go.
The answer is not to give up, I guess! :-)

Necessity is the mother of invention. If there is a need, we can provide a solution. Thats what marketing is all about. You're doing great! Keep it up!

Jean welcome. We all have something worthwhile to contribute. It's often the one thing we consider trivial, but to someone else it can be life changing. I'm looking forward to your input.

One of the things I experienced repeatedly when I was struggling with depression, was the feeling that no one could POSSIBLY understand what I was feeling.
I had to learn that perception is not reality. Our perception is merely a reflection of what we believe. That believing in something doesn't make it real.
Jean I know that every person alive knows SOMETHING I don't. Therefore it is an inescapable fact that I can learn from you, and that means you have something to offer!
Of course
