I saw this quote: "Adolescence is a period of rapid changes. Between the ages of 12 and 17, for example, a parent ages as much as 20 years." My twin boys are 8, and I'm 47, so I will be 71 when they reach 17. Here's my calculation: 47 + 4 + 5 + 15 = 71. 47 years old plus when they reach 12 plus when they reach 17 plus 20 years minus 17-12 :)
