Since I am childless, I don't have quite the "fuss and 'fusion" when it comes to preparing kids' menus and recipes for others... But I also am not known for the incredible patience of cooking for kids every single day.... A really admirable feature of those moms and dads... I really don't know how you do it... Kids can be incredibly picky, critical and choosey when it comes to eating-- You parents are to be commended highly for this feat of undeniable indurance! :)  I am much more known for "The Drawing and Quatering Of" or the "Cleaving In Twain" of, misguided Critics of my Chef-ly Preparations, and  Enjoyment of Same is seen as a Necessity by those who wish to continue Living, with all their Given Body Parts intact, as it were...! Just Kidding! LOL! http://contestguru.com/contestnews/category/just-for-kids As a "Single Guy For Life and Beyond", you might not think that I would have much interest in stuff about kids... Not so!  I started out as one myself! LOL! :) Kids can be the most amazingingly creative folks at times, I really do enjoy their antics and their  thoughts about the World that they've recently been introduced to... I learned about cooking at 6 years old, and my enthusiasm hasn't faded! :) Got great Kid chef in your family? Check out the link above and enjoy seeing what a kid can really do! :)  And now for you Peanut Butter Lovers: http://peanutbutterlovers.com/  This site has so many recipes for that wonderful stuff that I had trouble trying to choose one to display here, but here it goes: Gold Peanut Bars (National Peanut Festival Grand Prize and Candy Winner) 1 box (3 oz.) vanilla pudding mix (not instant) 1 cup sugar 2/3 cup evaporated milk 2 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon butter flavoring 1 cup chopped honey roasted peanuts In medium sauce pan, combine pudding mix, sugar and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add butter and butter flavoring. Pour into mixing bowl and beat at high speed for 5 minutes until mixture thickens. Stir in peanuts. Grease an ice tray and fill half-full with thickened mixture. Refrigerate until firm. Remove from tray and wrap in gold foil. Store in a cool place.
