I think a lot of us 'newbies' are so afraid of writing our own ads' that we tend to use a lot of 'copy n paste'. i have just recently started writing my own and must admit to having a much better response rate. also, it helps if you are believing in what you are advertising. If I think something is good, I will take the time to write my own ad. It may not be as flashy as the pre - written ads, but hopefully readers will see beyond the hype!

Yes, the content about evo is copy and past. This might save you time but it wont make you money.

Hi flash32,
My feelings about this ad are,
It is badly laid out in that it is paragraphed where it should not be.
Lines are badly split up. Ads need to take into account a line length of about 64 to 70 characters and when splitting lines this should be looked at carefully so that when split it still holds the reader s attention.
The content about evo is copy and past I have seen a hundred times and still leaves me cold.
From an ethical advertising point of view.

ANYone recall the Woody Allen movie "Take the Money and Run" now that's marketing! LOL

Maybe you all are correct! It all depends on who your audience is... the same ad doesn't always work in all venues! Funny how that works! I think Valerie has a point... but the ad with a more subtle approach works well also for those who aren't drawn in by slick or hype or even funny jingles or cute pictures!
We are not trying to emulate P.T. Barnum, that's for sure. But something that catches their attention (isn't that what Valerie just said up top?) sure goes a long way towards getting the

Great advice given! I just want to say that ad's that tell me that I can make a million (or even thousands) over night...totally turn me away! They may be right..but to me it sounds way to far fetched! I may be wrong..but that is me :0)

Dave I have come back to your comment because the more I review writing here on Apsense it seems to me like people are afraid of HYPE.
But the truth is HYPE sells

Stick to your own niche.
If you have a specific thing you're good at, whether it be gardening, training horses, writing poetry or whatever the case may be, don't go all over the place and write about things that have nothing to do with your niche. If you're going to start a niche blog, stick to the subject matter and use key words that describe what you're selling and promote through other same niche article sites to find people who would be interested in what you're doing.

The 'call to action' is vital. This can be as simple as a button to click or lengthy as a set of step by step instructions for what's next for the reader.

Hi Pete
You say content is King, This is partially correct.
What is King is UNIQUE content.
I fully agree with you on not using "canned" ads.
I am guilty of doing it at times but most of the time I do my best to write my own ads based around the salient points.
I am also a strong advocate of the "Short and Sweet" principal.
If I get an email that is as long as a volume of an encycolopedia, then I am not going to read it.
My thoughts are that if the sender feels it needs so
