This is from Bob Osgoodby's newsletter... and it's about ad submitters and what really happens when you use them for submitting to ezines !! ----- Hi Bob, Enjoy your newsletters! Could you please tell me where I can get one of those ad submitters that submit to all the ezines? I did see one a while ago but must have deleted the email. Regards Val ----- Val - save your money. Most Ezine publishers, including myself, get bombarded by these submission programs. I have filters in my email program that automatically dumps ads submitted this way to the trash bin - they are never even seen. How do we know this happening, you might ask. Well, when you suddenly get bombarded with ad requests, you know something is remiss. Ads are submitted to us through a form on our web site. I include a special statement on the ad that we receive from the website, and if it isn't there, the ad is simply dumped. If they break the code and include that statement in their submission program, I simply change the statement. To place an ad in this or any of our other publications, go to: adv-marketing.com That's Bob Osgoodby's website and newsletter .... and there's funny's in his newsletter also !! Grins Eggplants =-=-=-=-=-= A grocer put up a sign that read "Eggplants, 25¢ each -- three for a dollar." All day long, customers came in exclaiming: "Don't be ridiculous! I should get four for a dollar!" Meekly the grocer capitulated and packaged four eggplants. The tailor next door had been watching these antics and finally asked the grocer, "Aren't you going to fix the mistake on your sign?" "What mistake?" the grocer asked. "Before I put up that sign no one ever bought more than one eggplant." Have a great TODAY Beth
