Brand new at all this
I am a true newbie and still learning how to navigate on Apsense much less do anything else. I am very interested in this group and for awhile you all will forgive me, I hope, for reading your articles more than writing any until I get the hang of it. I have surfed through thousands of business opportunities since 1994 and have learned that the ones that are being mass marketed out there do not get you anywhere unless you have the bucks to compete with the big boys and are able to out-advertise them. I am not looking to get rich much less do it quick. I have a mother with a debilitating chronic disease that is terminal and needs me at home with her(I am a nurse) and I am just looking for a way to make a little extra money since I cannot work at this time in my life. I am 51 and those of you around my age will understand that we are starting to lose our older loved ones. Anyway thanks for listening and if I come across any tips I think might help anyone I will post them. Linda

First of all I really must commend you for taking care of your mom. Good for you. That is such a kind, compassionate, loving thing to do.
I, too have tried so many online businesses. I think one has to spend hours and hours advertising and then like you said you still are competing with the "big guns". I had such sore eyes in the beginning that my eyelids were chapped!! LOL
I found it so hard to focus in the beginning and jumped from program to program. I still get temp

Just wanted to say welcome. Know how you feels my mother was 20 years in a wheel chair and I lost my daughter and several other loved ones to cancer, and worked on and off for years as a care-assistant.

This is my first tip for you and others making the same mistake.
Take what you know about paragraphs and throw it away. You want no more that three lines and then a space. It keeps people from being overwhelmed with reading the computer screen.
