Double-V and single U-beveled end for steel pipe
Matters need attention for I-type and single-V beveled ends having been listed in last essay. Today, we would like to introduce the rest of beveled ends for seamless steel pipe purchaser and other types of pipes’ buyer.
Double-V beveled end: It can be called X—beveled end due to its shape. This kind of type would derive from single-V type. The difference for it is that this one needs double-side welding, so the material needs to be turned over after welded one side and the preparation time is longer than the single-V beveled end. For the thickness of the steel pipes, it would be ranged from 12 to 60mm. What’s more, it can save material with the same thickness for steel pipes.
Single-U beveled end: It is a one-side welding joint. It requires less filler metal material than double-V beveled end and is less subjective to deformation. However, due to the radian shape, it is more difficult to process than the former methods.
