Writingup or Writingdown
There is a site called writingup and it was one of my favorite site on the net.
It had great members and great content but for some reason known only to the owners it has been down / offline more than it has been online lately.
Are any other members here members at Writingup?
Please let me know.
Try to visit my Writingup posts.

Hi Jen/Haven
Nice to hear from you again.
Do you miss writingup? I will visit Communati.com when I catch up.
I just moved house and just got back on broadband so I'm way behind.

Hi Valarie
Writingup was free and income was to be made from displaying google ads. The owners (name withheld) had problems in other areas and were being litigated against by google.com. Nothing to do with writingup but could have taken owners focus and time away.
Writingup was a fantastic concept and should have succeeded with a few modifications to the way income was made. People loved it and there good traffic and there were some great amateur and professional writers and members. Goo

Hi there rexiedexie, I do remember you from WU. I was there for a very long time - as Haven - but the downtime did me in at last. Several members got together and started a new blog community called Communati.com - emphasis on communication and community - which is where you'll now find a lot of the people you might have been used to seeing on WU.

Was WritingUp a paid for site? I think people don’t realize how much money it can cost to keep a site up and running.
