What does it mean to be a GMO?
GMOs (genetically modified organisms) are novel life forms made in a research center utilizing genetic modification/engineering techniques.
In a genetic modification (or engineering) of nourishment plants, researchers expel at least one qualities from the DNA of another organism, for example, a bacterium, infection, animals, or plant and "recombine" them into the DNA of the plant they need to change. By including these new qualities, genetic engineers trust the plant will express the attributes related to the qualities. For instance, hereditary specialists have exchanged qualities from a bacterium known as Bacillus thuringiensis or Bt into the DNA of corn. Bt qualities express a protein that executes bugs, and exchanging the qualities enables the corn to deliver its own pesticide.
