What does it mean to be a GMO?

GMOs (genetically modified organisms) are novel life forms made in a research center utilizing genetic modification/engineering techniques. In a genetic modification (or engineering) of nourishment plants, researchers expel at least one qualities from the DNA of another organism, for example, a bacterium, infection, animals, or plant and "recombine" them into the DNA of the plant they need to change.
