Robby The Robot helped me learn to draw figures... :)

 I don't know how many of you guys remember ROBBY THE ROBOT but I am forever indebted to this cool early sci-fi movie character for the lift that he gave me in my art career... :)  This "robot's " shapes and curves helped me learn how to draw more realistic human figures because they were actually part of the 6' 10'' costume frame that was kind of built around the actor who played the character...  Folks actually thought Robby was a real robot and his fans numbers grew into the hundreds of thousands despite the fact that he was an evil character in his debut movie Forbidden Planet a movie that still receives accolades for it's corny but charming special effects and dry-wit humor.  I was very adept at drawing anatomically correct human females, but that particular skill used to get me in trouble all the time until Robby came along! LOL! :)
