Google is testing a new way to report offensive Autocomplete suggestions

Google is testing a new, more visible way for searchers to report potentially offensive suggestions in its Autocomplete feature. The test is currently limited to a very small percentage of Google users, but the company says it hopes to roll it out to all users around the world soon. Google shared the screenshot below of one version of the reporting tool — you can see the gray text, “Report offensive query” in the bottom right, below the last Autocomplete suggestion. This may not necessarily be what the final feedback invitation looks like, but is one version in testing now.
