Is some sites REALLY FREE?

Most sites entice you with the word FREE and when you are inside or become a member then one now knows that the program isn't entirely free. One either has to upgrade, buy regularly to gain enough points to make a decent income or refer; only then can one see a semblance of earning. Is there ANY site where one can do what they advertise and get PAID?
