What is an MOT test

A Ministry of Transport (MOT) inspection verifies that your car is roadworthy and complies with all applicable safety and environmental regulations by the DVSA. Without a valid MOT certificate, it is illegal to operate a vehicle on UK roads. If your MOT has expired, your insurance will also be void.
