Nigeria: Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar Faces Buhari In The presidential Election
End of the suspense in Nigeria, and the start of the real campaign: the party primaries ended Sunday, October 7 on the election of the main opposition candidate for the presidential election of February 2019. It is the former vice-president President Atiku Abubakar who will face the current president under the banner of the People's Democratic Party.
With more than 40%, Atiku Abubakar (1,532 votes) has far outstripped the other twelve contenders for the title, including the current Senate Speaker, Bukola Saraki (317 votes), his most serious competitor.
