Personal Experience on non-tracking vs Tracking
This is short because my lesson to ME is short. although I have been surfing 10+ years it just didn't click the important of tracking. So here I am surfing my little fingers off and assigning all these clicks, getting a few down-line and then wondering, aw gee, where did that come from.
Bottom line, I couldn't duplicate my success, because I wasn't tracking. People have been telling me the important of tracking for years, did I listen? NO. Then I joined a program called Click Track Profit. They had us do a certification training in which a video took us threw each step of an effective marketing program from creating splash page to tracking conversions. What an eye opener. Now nothing goes to my sites without being tracked.
Have you ever said, "If only I had listened years, months, days, hours ago?"
Guess what, that is a waste of energy. Learn from the past, perform in the present and learn to be maintain the lessons in the future.
There are several ways to track. I use two primary ones, depending on the depth of information I want. Apsense has an excellent "shorter" that gives be an excellent tidbit of data. TE Toolbox is a very extensive tracker, with splash page makers, rotators, etc.Either way,
TRACK, TRACK, TRACK
Enjoy it learn from it!!
