Blog Critique Please
Hi Group,
I just made my very first blog entry! While this is a new venture for me, I can see where it can be of great value.
I would appreciate your critique on my blog entry. I promise you, IT IS NOT AN AD, no links, no selling whatsoever. It is the result of a discussion I had with some members here in a different group on Apsense.
Please be honest with me, give me what you really think. If you think it is worthwhile info, whether you agree or not, I would appreciate it if you would give it a rating, and more importantly, your critique and suggestions here on how to improve it.

Doug,
Now you've really done it...mixed the sagacity of age with
the persistence of youth, and come up with 9.5 out of 10.

ancient.
Have at it, Doug, more blogs!!!!

Alan,
Thank you very much for your valuable critique!
I presume that most of the typos you refer to were in the supplemental comments I made to the original post. I sure could use a spell checker on Apsense! But you are right. Since they are still a part of the blog, I need to show the same care as in the original post. Thank you, Alan, for making a very good point.
I also see what you are saying about the goobledegook about the product. Perhaps somthing like this would be more succint

Doug, I think that you have done yourself and others a favor by
producing your blog, and I congratulate you on your achievement.
You have not only created a good talking point, but you have done
the magnificent thing of getting people to stop and think before
succumbing to the lure of what they mistakenly assume is easy
money.
BUT you lose points due to carelessness. Several typos and,
tell it only in whispers, a lapse into gobbledegook. This at the
point where you comment on the product an

Yes, the risk=reward paradigm seems to work very well. As I have studied and analyzed different ventures here online. However, when I say risk, I mean a calculated risk. What I look for are two things, do the numbers make sense, are tey sustainable? Also, is the product or service desireable, marketable, and sellable? What is the potential for repeat sales and/or customer referral/feedback?
Let me give you an example. Last night I received a Apsense Express bulletin f

Great way to jump in there and get your feet wet by posting a great topic that gives readers opposite ends of the spectrum to choose between.
Thanks, Stephen

nice reading article. Your business experience before you started online marketing and writing this blog certainly gives you the insight and qualifications to understand business ~ the pros and cons that need to be balanced in the decision making process.
"risk = reward" is a strong consideration and as some of us have found out... even if it's free there's risk involved if we promote it to the max and get our 5 who inturn get their 5 or more and then ... we're all saying "now what?"
