He was not happy because i left a comment on his article when i wrote 'your article is interesting

He was not happy because i left a comment on his article when i wrote 'your article is interesting to check it out' he said why use the word 'to check it out' that people keep writing to check it out and no one has checked it out. I said to him they will check it out. Who knows if this author has even read any of articles or viewed my profile. May be is that type of apsense member who login and post article and logout. Can anyone tell me his annoyance?
