The New Global Study – the State of Global Air Report 2019 (prepared by Health Effects Institute (HEI),Institute of Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington, University of British Columbia and University and Texas) – noted that China and India accounted for half of the global deaths (1.2 Million deaths) that are attributable to air pollution.
