Anyone Use Auto Responders?
Hi all,
I know from reading that auto responders are doing really well for marketing. I have only read about them and would like to hear from some of your experiences with them. Which company do you use? Free or Paid? Do you use company written emails? How effective are your emails?
Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge with me!

Thank you all for your feedback. I appreciate you telling me your different experiences with autoresponders. I am going to try to take a little time today and check them out.
This was one thing that I wanted personal opinions on because there are so many to choose from! And of coarse they all offer different varying features.
Thanks again,
Emily

Well, I am going to suggest the autoresponder in my marketing & automated lead generation program is tops... at least in my books!
The Veretekk system provides 23 customizable traffic portals with a customizable autoresponder (use the system default autoresponder letters or develop any number or sets of text or HTML letters according to your marketing campaign needs or businesses); fresh & unique double opt-in leads are captured through reverse marketing; email campaigns can be established fo

Bob,
I KNOW! I always pay either half-yearly or yearly to save a bit but as I said, even though I don't see myself ever stopping that.. I just write off as a biz expense, I HAVE been tempted before to look at additional autoresponders I could use from a site I set up just for that...
I'm willing to test yours, Bob, but I'm NOT a techieeee! My WP blog makes my head hurt enough, much less tinkering with scripts!!!! ;-)

Angela, I agree Aweber is a great service but you have to pay them a monthly fee for something you can do yourself. It isn't any more difficult to use than aweber and it is all web based. The list will delete people automatically if they click the link in the email. This option saves you tireless hours of maintaining your list. It keeps it up to date for you. If someone opts out it deletes them from your list no questions asked.

Emily,
I'd DIE without my autoresponder! I also use aweber because they're the best at maintaining great relationships with the email providers, so even if someone who opted in for your list forgets they did and hits that spam button, your url won't be as quickly blocked as it can be when using your own auto, (I'm told).
If someone had MADE me understand the importance of building my own list BEFORE I started building websites, I'd have begun to do that with just my plain blogger blog and my

I use my own autoresponder. It is a simple script and it will make things much easier for you. You can have it automatically send multiple emails to different contacts at different times or intervals not to mention the list capabilities. All my messages are made by me. I do sell this program at a huge discount to our apsense users. If you are interested send me an email here so I can give you details of how to get yours. (if you go to my site it says 29.95 for the program. Not for apsense uses w

I use Aweber. I think its the best one available.
I wouldn't recommend Free Autresponders. You usually give something up for the free service, that could be ad space in your emails, your leads could be shared with others, you could become someone elses lead etc.
There are a few "one time payment" for a lifetime Autoresponder, but these require continual new members to survive. You could try them but be careful which one you choose.
Also watch out for Autoresponders that promose you can
