O’Reilly Media Unveils Blockchain Event, Announces Bitcoin Integration Nationwide

Today, the media company announced the latest addition to its conference lineup: Bitcoin & the Blockchain: An O’Reilly Radar Summit. Taking place this winter in San Francisco, the one-day event will give attendees an opportunity to learn about Bitcoin’s significance and potential, and educate them on ways to leverage its tools, technologies and processes to expand and contribute to the ecosystem. Bitcoin & the Blockchain not only marks O’Reilly’s first event dedicated to digital currencies and the blockchain technology, but also the first time that O’Reilly will accept bitcoin as a payment method. image O’Reilly also announced plans to integrate bitcoin payments into its other US-based conferences and its online store starting in 2015. In the coming months, anyone with a Coinbase wallet will be able to use bitcoin to purchase books, research, videos and more.
