Product Launch Frenzy
There is a common misconception that "product launches are only for the big dogs"...
BULL.
True, six figure product launches may only be for the bigger guys (which you could become if you set your mind to it) - but that's not to say you need a six figure product to warrant a launch.
Any product can be made immensely more successful by doing a proper launch. It is not simply a question of making a big scene out of it - although that part also helps - there is much more to it than that:
1. By doing it right, you will have a lot more sales - and not only at the moment of launch, but also in the future.
2. Working on creating a buzz can be used to create a conversational platform - which can be used to create a measure of social proof.
3. The social element will also add to your credibility - if everybody is talking about you, and it sounds good, you have to be good, right?
4. By starting it off big, you will be able to quickly gather more social proof from customers - in the form of testimonials - which you will be able to use as leverage for further sales.
5. You can use a launch to create a perception of scarcity - whether you actually restrict the number of customers (or the period of availability of the offer), or simply add extra bonuses (or discounts) for a set amount of time (or to a set number of customers).
6. A successful launch can be a great boost to your credibility - and it will help set you up for an even better launch for your next product or service.
7. Seeing all the buzz and feedback before the launch is great to keep you motivated when you are faced with stacks of work in a short period of time (if you are doing everything yourself).
8. Since you will be gaining a good number of customers in a relatively short space of time, you can ask them for feedback - including a survey - to see what they would like from you next, or what improvements they would like to see if you ever had to upgrade and re-launch the product.
9. Doing a successful launch will open the door to better JV partnerships for the next launch - since other people in your niche will take note, and be more open to doing joint ventures with you. Depending on the size and success of your launch, you may even find people approaching YOU afterwards.
A product launch does not need to be huge. We all have to start somewhere!
