Traffic is important to make sales

It is not all kinds of traffic but it is targeted traffic that matters the most when it comes to making sales. Targeted traffic is difficult to get but if you do some sort of research then you can identify the sites that actually deliver real traffic to your offers. Any opinion on this matter?
