School Activities

Are your children active at school with extracurricular activities such as sports, clubs, etc? I spent this day going to basketball games watching grandkids which is something that  I love to do and the kids have come to expect to see me there since I have never missed one in all the years that they were old enough to be active. I sometimes have to travel to 2 different towns to catch them all and in the summer running from diamond to diamond so as to let them know that I am watching. It is important to them, I found that out from my own kids when one day I had to miss one of my daughters game due to work and that was the last event that I missed.  This past week I had the honor of watching my next to oldest granddaughter receive her national honor roll certificate which made me very happy and proud. If only all parents as well as grandparents knew how much it meant to the kids, I am sure that more would be present for these events. So please support your children in all that they do.
