Good Point about evergreen content. But we really have been rewarded through active commenting . Our blogs are focused on narrow niches and enjoy the relationship building with those of same "bent"

I blog to suit my own needs and it has done that very well for me. I turned off comments and removed dates so my site stays Evergreen, but the information does bring in a little extra cash for me.
