my plate cover is the best. No Mess, No clean up after use :)

Everything I come across some thing that might help keep things clean, I try it . This vented microwave splatter screen was a hit. I can SOMETIMES get my family to use a paper towel, but they slide and fall in your food. Plastic wrap is too expensive to waste on microwaving and my son wouldn't take the time to cover his plate anyway. The microwave cover can sit on top of the microwave and be placed on top of even a full-sized plate. The handle doesn't get hot so it's easy to remove and it seems to help heat the food faster. The cover is dishwasher safe, but I usually just rinse it off with soapy water and put it right back on top of the microwave for the next use.
