Some very basic stuff regarding writing

I read a lot from many different people. Writing in some ways, is a talent. Not everybody can write a bestsellers novel. The basic purpose is to bring across a message in writing. Whether it is in a PM, an article, a comment or in the messenger. Writing someone is different than talking to some-one. When somebody talks to you, you see his face and the expression on it. You hear the sound of his voice. You see his gestures and body language. These are all additional aids that help to get the message across.These aids are not available when you write a message to somebody. Basis stuffMy English knowledge is better than average. And yet I often have difficulty of understanding some messages because sometimes:a person writes the same as he speaks and jumps from one thing to other and backthere is no punctuation like dots, comma's, etcetera. It is just one long sentence.The sentence can be interpreted in more than one way.When you write something divided your text in paragraphs , blocks of text with sentences that belong together.Try to make the sentences not too long. Use punctuation. Since this is an international network it is, in my opinion, important to give this some attention in order to get your messages understood by all nations.
