If you are everything perfect no need to bother about changes.

from starting google emphasis on content & quality link, but people never understand that till they got penalized.
Can give a example who got penalized without any illegal stuff???
About Changes ...... everything is changing (comp. tech, electronics, s/w, h/w etc.) why not SEO?
U have to be updated with that, otherwise leave it.

Nobody talking about blackhat here, it is only whitehat, but how long keep changing.

Yes ...... White-hat SEO will never kill your website ......So, choose the legal way to get the result, it may take time but, search engine will never penalize you for sure.

Keep doing SEO legally .....

Few White Hat tips:
- Add unique and relevant content to your site
- Add unique and relevant alt attribute content to images
- Add keyword rich unique titles
- Add keyword and description meta tags
- Work keywords into content and keep keyword prominence and frequency in mind
- Use keyword rich filenames for files when possible

Whatever the updates may be you have to go for SEO/SEM to get ranking, Traffic & Sales......The thing is that why people are going for Black-hat SEO. The thing is that, these SEO People always suffer due to their spamming technique......Better you go for White-hat SEO, they always prefer legal way to get you results ..... don't blame SEO, Its all about quality .... what you want?

Well I am not good in H & Meta but love to remain original in terms of quality of contents and I am glad some of you still believe I will survive on these conditions and will gain my sites reputation back very soon

Socialising on respected sites with quality information is also a way to go. Google is trying to legitimise sites rather than listing sites that have "bought" their ranking.

H and Meta is history now, good content, original content, and high quality links are the only things that I see helping my sites to come back to the page rank and traffic had before Panda and Penguin started.

As a further note.. we all witnessed some huge changes when Google focused on PPC and the quality of the ads...now Google is targeting the Organic world too...and the biggest thing of all that will keep you surviving is CONTENT & QUALITY

I believe if you follow the principles of "H" tags and "Meta" tags and deliver quality content referencing keywords/phrases from those you will be well recognised... I agree that simple keyword stuffing in content will not gain a top performance result. Optimisation is now a subtle approach and be prepared to sacrifice yourself using outbound resource links

I am also witnessing some changes and trying to understand what went wrong because some of my very good sites loose daily traffic in recent days.

Google is trying to save its business model by doing all the changes so there will not be any hack for their hidden algo/process

Also, content's quality will grow in importance.
