Paid to Click Mania

Hey I have a serious question and I would love some serious honest feedback. Everywhere I go I see websites advertising paid to click sites. What's the deal? Have people gone paid to click mad? Do people really think that they can earn their way to wealth by clicking their life away? Or maybe to them this is just a hobby and a fad that gives them some hope that they will make a few cents here and there. I have to admit, I am a member of a few but I don't plan on living out my life clicking for peanuts...I want some meat an potatoes too! Ok, I also need to know, who is actually advertising to this people? The programs that they advertise or $500 and up to get started (on average). Now think, is somebody really going to click on your ad and buy your program when they are clicking for free for pennies? Hello, they do not have money or trust anyone enough to pay $25 to upgrade in a paid to click site, and now you expect them to pay $500 into your program? Would you advertise your business at a paid to click site full of people who are just clicking to earn McDonald's cash for next month? Would you if they paid you % of total companies assets to advertise there? Would you upgrade in a paid to click site if you could earn (let's just say for example) $10 extra per month without referring or clicking? That's sounds like a cool idea. Imagine that, I upgrade for $25 and I click to earn (.01 to .05) per click ad plus I earn $10 per month and do not have to refer a soul. Does anybody have a program like that or would people think, "Oh, this must be a scam!" Gee, I would pay $25 just to see.
