Sylvia, If you are still learning how some of these social sites work... send me a message and I will share some free eBooks from Hubspot that have great beginner information for you :)
Bruce, did Google + do away with ripples? I read your article, great stuff BTW :), and tried to check out ripples on some public posts and it does not show as an option on the drop down arrow. Any suggestions?
Thanks a bazillion Bruce! I found your article and will study it tomorrow :)
Oh, BTW I ran into a great LinkedIn ebook put out by Hubspot. It has step by step process for setting up a company page. If anyone would like a copy just send me an email here on APSense :)
I use IBOTOOLBOX and LinkedIn also. I am constantly on FB and Twitter as well. Still learning the ins and outs of Social Marketing and how it works to "our" advantage.
Patty, I have TONS of information on google+. I have been their since they opened pre-release to a few of us power users :)
Do a google search for "unlimited free traffic google+" without the quotes. You should find a very nice guide to using google plus. It walks you through setting up circles, how to use them, how to use hangouts, the importance of ripples (ripples lets you see every person who has shared a post you made, and who shared it with them, and who they shared it with), and so much
@Trev thanks for the response. I love HootSuite too. I am not that familiar with Google + yet. I found it awkward to use in the beginning and have just gone back to learn it now that they have made it a bit better.
@Bruce I see that you use G+ also. Do you happen to have any instructional info to share? Things like how to set up your circles correctly, etc.
I also use MyNetworkingPro. That's a great place to find folks to partner with :)
I "believe" you are incorrect Trev. SocialOomph was originally a service called tweetlater. When twitter had a fit about people using the word "tweet" in their domain names and started blocking API keys of website in violation of that rule, tweetlater renamed itself socialoomph. At that time they started adding scheduling for a few other sites like facebook.... but I stopped using it right about that time.
SEOlinkvine IIRC is brad callen's website and that is a backlink builder through blog po
@ eMarketing your right on the button with SocialOomph...If I remember correctly it became the more popular tool over SEOLinkvine (correct me if I'm wrong)
outside of some of the more obvious ones I do like to use IBOtoolbox as another very active business network platform, and a must use is Hootsuite (which now has taken Seesmic and Seesmic gobbled up PingFM) a powerful platform to utilize.If you operate a service for offline businesses then get up to speed with Google+ and build your Google+ local page (the replacement for Google Places) Oh! and get busy with YouTube and video prodution as "vlogging" is a new trend)
Message me for any further det

Short reply:
Yes google still has ripples;
Post must be public, and people sharing them must also share to the public.
