I like what Bruce said this is what I am doing in my MLM. There are free blogs, I started with blogspot.com then I purchased a ebook on traffic. I joined a few forums. Just to killed information overload I do one marketing method at a time.

I just signed up with a leads generation program. I got a lot of sign ups in a week for my ezine. I get 100 free leads everyday and there is no trial period or membership fee for this. Go to facebook and type in 100FreeAwesomeLeads and it will bring you to my Fan Page. There is a posting of the link on that page.

I have not checked what your new mlm is, but lets assume you joined an mlm where you sell vitamins. If this is the case, you want people to hear the name "Lydfred F." and think "guy who knows a lot about health".
It doesn't matter what the product that you sell, you need to brand yourself

Also Yea!mx allows you to post up to 10 articles a day. It is free to join but costs $4.95 a month as an author. They are doing a special deal for Apsense members I think.

To generate leads, start creating valuable and informative content for your readers. Perhaps offer a free resource for them to download in exchange for their email address. If you have a budget, you may want to consider paid traffic or an online marketing system to give you a boost.
