Cyclone Tauktae : IMD issues orange alert for Mumbai, Thane and Palghar

In the view of Cyclone Tauktae, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for Mumbai and warned of heavy rains at isolated places – Thane and Palghar -- with strong winds on Monday, May 17. Mumbai received heavy rainfall with gusty winds on Monday.
