Hello Friends, "Genius is the ability to reduce the complicated to the Simple" -C.W. Cerar I'm not sure who Cerar is, but he sounds like one smart man. A big mistake that people make when they fail in business or even in life is trying to complicate things. It seems to be human nature for people to believe that something is "better" when it's difficult or complicated. Complicated may work for machines, but it doesn't work for people. You can't let all the high-tech part of society influence you and the way you run your life and your business. You've got to keep it simple. Several years ago, a young Harvard law and business graduate decided to start his own business. With the help of his grandfather, a successful Wall Street investor, he thought he would build his own beverage company. After a couple of weeks in business the two men met for lunch. The grandfather asked his grandson how many customers he had, and he replied, "None yet. I've been very busy hunting for the proper computer system." "Son, until you have customers, you don't need a computer system. You don't even need an office or a desk. You need customers." Listening to the advice of his successful mentor and grandfather, the young man put aside all the lessons he learned in "strategic planning" and went out in search of customers. Today, his business is a true success story. His beverages are sold throughout the nation. To this day, he has no office or desk. When asked why, he replies, "Because you can't sell anything to a desk!" What a fabulous lesson in business! Don't let your respect for modern technology replace the fundamentals of what will make your business a success. Focus on what generates income, and put your time and effort in this area. This is an old story shared with me by a man I think is one the greatest men in the world....Mr. Art Williams, from his book All You Can Do is All You Can Do But All You Can Do is Enough. See You All At The Top, Mauro Look-Feel-Live
