Hen Nesting Boxes - General rules
As a rule of thumb, you should develop chicken nesting boxes in order that there are one box every four animals. Each box should be affixed to the inside of the box, located roughly 18 inches and 24 inches above the ground so the eggs may perhaps be conveniently grabbed and have a sloping top that slopes to end up under the roosting perch since this is where chickens sit and lay their eggs into the chicken nesting boxes.
