Lead Generation and Conversion
Let's hear your opinion:
Whatever method you use to build a list/generate leads, you actually don't have a lot of options to convert leads into paying members/customers except following them with autoresponder messages. Now days, people don't read email messages much - their inbox is crowded and they delete most of messages (we all do that no matter how professionally that message was written). Do you just accept the fact that you'll loose majority of your potential clients or you are trying to do something else?

I agree, but heh.. we went into another subject, and NM is a science with never ending subjects, problems, and great things.. Thanks everyone for participating in this discussion.

I hear what your saying... but getting people to duplicate what you do will take a lot of work if they are lazy and if you lead them by the hand all the time they will never duplicate. If they are truly desperate to make the opportunity work they will perform.. otherwise cut them loose. I once belonged to an mlm and had this upline who use to call me and almost put to to test and task I hated it...he was only try to duplicate himself on me...what he did not understand is I was never meant to be

Thank you Trev! And yes I am actually a webinar girl, I held more than 1000 webinar presentations and trainings.. I am not talking about me though. Just a small number of people in your downline will be ready to go public and speak in front of others and use webinars as their business tool. Even we all have good explanations and comments, the problem with massive duplication is not solved. The title of discussion is Lead Generation and Conversion. Ok let's say that it works for me. Let's say I

btw if your into NM and mlm..then you will have to define your down-line and subscribers from those with and without internet access of course so that phone is going to be useful for those without. Still no reason you cant get someone further up in your downline thats reasonably close by, has Internet access and can hold a small home group viewing the discussion afterwards will be of good value to all.

Email marketing will indeed be around for a long time...as will Email advice and tutorials without a direct sell. I am on the list of many a "guru" (renowned successful online business people) You never get skype invites or phone calls from these guys n gals... whats there secret simple they drip on me with some really great information and generally theres a link to a VIDEO or a WEBINAR now theres your 1 on 1 without the chase on the phone...surprisingly your list may be more tolerant and acce

@Harry, perhaps you have been reading some of my blog posts before or we met on some other website, who knows ? :)
@ Bruce, I certainly agree that email marketing is in use and it will be for a long time. But here's my point: Professional marketers know how to generate a lot of leads - create masses , they know how to compose powerful follow up message , but still, no one has 100% conversion rate, so all these people who showed an interest for your business but didn't take the next step are sim

My auto responder has 2 emails in it, so I am not sure I agree with your take. The first email in my autoresponder says "thanks for joining, in case you didn't already receive your link to step two of the business please check the link below"
And then a second email that says "Thanks for joining me in this business opportunity. If you are in need of suppor

Milena, you are correct with the personal contact. The guru's are selling the money is in the list and go on autopilot which they have stopped doing over a year ago in a sense..
What I have been doing is personal emails that I tell people up front that if you don't respond personally you're gone. I give out a ton of good material that they love and I'm rewarded for it.
I first inform them that they should create another free email personally for our one on one sessions. This results into $15 p

I agree with you Trev, but in my eyes, that's all theory. People register in 10 different opportunities a day, they don't even know what message to read, what to delete, what's relevant and what's not.
And all this is not something we can recommend as a simple business strategy to thousands of members in NM company for example.. Just a small number of people will actually buy an autoresponder and learn professional email marketing so they can improve their conversion rate.
Why I even started t

btw if your running a good campaign your sales funnel should always be attracting new entries. Once they're in then its up to you...

depends on your style and approach to email marketing.
Do you have "open rate" capability for tracking in your autoresponder. Friends and Family ! if You Have a list of 5000 and your not seeing any results from your newsletter or auto drip from an opt-in...then its either the wrong people on your list for what you got them there with or you just are spamming them with irrelevant information and offers. People hang on lists for years before making a buying decision you just keep playing the list

I agree, but uhh, everyone is running away from that, because they offered too many products and business offers to friends and family and they won't even hear about something new..
And, that wasn't precise answer to the question above..Let's say that you already have 5000 people who signed up to learn more about your offer, what then?
