Honestly when it comes to security related items, there are SO MANY ways to market. The best way I can think of of off the top of my head would be to become active in 10 or so of the top security forums, and use a signature with a link to the apps you promote.
The ore you help others with their security problems, the more they will trust your security app recommendations.
