Why are you not on my contact list?
This is a social networking site and yet so few people are taking advantage of this most important feature, building a social network!
I know this for a fact because I only get about 4 requests a week, of people asking to be on my contact list.
In case you haven’t seen the ‘Add to my contacts’ Button it looks like this.
Who should you be adding to your contact list?
Everyone, you never know what person might add big $$$ to your business. (You can start by adding me : )
How do you find people to add to your contact list?
>>Anytime you read something check to see if the author is on your list.
>>Click on the networking tab and start clicking and adding people.
>>If you belong to a group start adding the members of that group and always add the group leaders.
Every day I spend a few minutes asking to be added to others contact list. Of all the people I have asked to be added to their contact list I have had a very few people say no. The vast majority have said YES and WOW I have made some great business contacts.
So Don’t be afraid to use that button!!!

I have to admit that I don't do this as often as I should, but I do occasionally add ineresting people to my contact list when I am surfing the BCE. Sometimes it is becaue their ABC is so impresive, I just want to send them a private note telling them about it, others because I fel that their business is related to mine and there's a possibility that we could work together. Hi Val,
Due to my activities I dont block people.
Since I started sending my short intro The number of unwanted ads has dropped dramatically.
so many do take notice, the others , well I just delete their spam unless its excessive, then I will contact them about it.
It is getting there I think but there are still those we need to educate.

In Response to your Spam worries – I usually never get more than one advert per person on my contact list.
This is not like your email box where big automated computers get hold of your email and generate thousands upon thousands of emails an hour.
This is one person sending email one at a time. And if you happen to get the one odd duck that bugs you the answer is simple. Block the sender.

The answer to your question " what do you do with the contacts once you have them", appears to be in many peoples minds "spam the devil out of them".
As an example I invited one member because I saw they needed help but due to the no advertising rule in the APSense group I could not post a link that would guide them in resolving their problem.
