Because we find that many internal links link to some information pages instead of products pages, such as blog page.

Gabriela sorry but you simply stated the obvious. Jane there is a big difference between Internal and External links.When to use the open in new browser or not to.For example if I use wikepedia for a reference point I will certainly highlight some part of my text that provides an external link to the reference point...and I allow it to open in a new web browser page.

I think no matter where the link is to be linked to, just be internal is better for your internal linking optimization.

its good to link to information pages... just dont allow the link to open in a new browser window
