SAN MARCOS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- KB Home (NYS: KBH) , one of the nation's largest and most recognized homebuilders, has begun construction on model homes at one of its most recent land acquisitions, a community called Rancho Santalina located in the desirable San Diego County suburb of San Marcos. Already collecting names for a list of interested buyers from a sales office onsite, KB Home expects to formally open the community to home shoppers by mid-February.
