While I still think bootcut denim jeans are my best appearance each day, I do have several pair of skinny denim jeans to tuck into high boots come fall. And I always recommend a black or dark wash skinny jean for the most flattering look. I happen to like Gap's skinny jean because it has a higher waistline; my one gripe is usually that I have to purchase it in a size larger than I usually wear (because I like to, you know, breathe.)
