Fears of Digital Emergency in Pakistan

Fears of a ” digital emergency ” have arisen in Pakistan, as telecommunications companies have written a letter to the State Bank expressing concerns over the new import policy for IT equipment. In view of the risk of disconnection in the affected areas and to avoid network outages, permission is being sought for immediate importation of equipment.
