There are numerous directory sites offering PI services in Costa Rica. These are nothing more than clearing residences for a web entrepreneur to get a percentage by referring you case to one of their members. More than commonly the members of such directory sites have to do nothing to acquire the referral other than joining the directory site and paying a small subscription fee. The directories in turn do no or little due diligence and refer your case to somebody they understand nothing about. Just recently I was curious and call one that is plainly displayed in the Google organic search and learned that it was a call center located in the western United States. When I inquired as to who was the PI in Costa Rica the CSR could not inform me.
