Harsh environment electronic assemblies require IPC-610 Class 3

Assembly Standard IPC 610 Classes standardize quality control across the electronic manufacturing services industry and communicate the expected performance levels of electronic components. Class 1 electronic components, the least stringent, include many of the components for general non-critical equipment. IPC 610 Class 3 has the most stringent requirements as these are intended for use in mission critical/high performance/harsh environment environments.
