My technique is to target distributors or agents already involved in network marketing or in a home based business. Present network marketers already have the frame of mind that I look for and have a clear understanding of the MLM model. These make the best network marketing leads, since I do not need to lose my time convincing people that are not in the industry that MLM is a legitimate business design which it's not a pyramid scheme.
