After posting a recent press release for the Online Marketing Connection at http://www.spuncksidespromo.blogspot.com, it was revealed by Blogposition.com via e-mail that this blog was no longer listed in the top 200 rank with Google. What does this mean for webmasters? (PRWEB) February 11, 2005 -- Google has began another sophisticated online marketing niche called sand boxing. What is sand boxing? Most of us do not know, but it appears there is a relevant linking que that suspends all new web sites until they can prove they carry enough weight to keep them listed in the top ranks. You can read this recent press release by visiting this PRWeb link: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2004/12/prwebxml192006.php at that time Google had listed the Online Marketing Connection Blog in the #1 position for several weeks shortly following a submitting to Google search engine the latter of 2004. Why the sudden displacement? Are we wasting our time and effort with search engine advertising? According to SitePro News, there is no need to panic. This que will last for a period of up to six months or so, and then if your website contains a satisfactory level of relevance you will be listed in the top ranks again. This so-called "Aging Process" or "Link Analysis" is brought about by the search giant to allow for an aging period of which is termed "aging filter". Sites with new domains have appeared at the top suddenly, and within a couple of weeks disappear. If you have a new site listing that was at the TopRank position, and has just seemed to disappear, don't panic, it is in an indexing state for six or seven months. This Is exactly what happen to Online Marketing Connection. The following notification was forwarded to Mr. Johnson shortly after joining with Blogposition.com: Hello, alvine.johnson We searched for the terms you've selected in Google.com for your blog http://www.spuncksidespromo.blogspot.com and this is the result for the last week: Searching your blog with E-mail:Sunday, February 06, 2005 - Not found Saturday, February 05, 2005 - Not found Friday, February 04, 2005 - Not found Thursday, February 03, 2005 - Not found Wednesday, February 02, 2005 - Not found Tuesday, February 01, 2005 - Not found Monday, January 31, 2005 - Not found Sunday, January 30, 2005 - Not found Thank you for using BlogPosition.com! Yahoo, on the other hand is among many others that yet list the Online Marketing Connection in the top ranking. Here that position is still #1 with Yahoo. Many have resorted to multi-site strategies to keep the company presence up front. Several sub-domains are being created to achieve these ends.
