So many times we listen to inspirational networkers and then go from elation to despair when things don't work out. How do you smooth out the mountain peak experiences and the valley low experiences?
I think of a concept I heard when I first started selling many years ago. It's a numbers game and every potentially frustrating failure is a stepping stone on the pathway to success. Since I look at each one as a learning opportunity, there is nothing to get frustrated about.
