Wages Vs Profits Which would you prefer?

Are profits better than wages? Wages make you a living (which is fine). But wouldn't you want to make some profit, profits can make you a fortune (which is super fine). Your working full time on /at your job you don't have enough time for yourself or family. You could work part time earning profits and having the time freedom to do what you want. Which would you prefer Wages or Profits or both?
