I think the tips are great, but I agree 100% with paula. In fact I would go so far as to say get a free blog and post this as a blog post. The banner layout can be much more tactful while increasing the likelihood of someone reading.
The info is good but the layout could be greatly improved. At first sight it looks like a banner farm which will turn of a lot of people in my opinion.
