thanks Manoj and you are quite right, using White Hat techniques with the combination of relevant content and some good old SEO will keep you in good standing for great SERP... if your building links for your site be sure they add true value.

Because this is the best way to increase your websites or a web page rank in search engines.

@Rahul.. your group notes say that meta tags include title, descripton, keywords etc.. and sorry but I do have to disagree... they are all individually unique..ie meta title,meta description,meta keywords, and meta tags. They are all useful in combination... some would say that the use of meta tags is dead and history...thanks to Googles announcement of non inclusion a while back..however Yahoo and Bing DO include meta tags in their overall assessment of a webpage/website It would be foolish not

Its threat-proof ....... Algorithm updates doesn't affect.But, I will say updates are good for Ethic/White-hat SEO.

Its a sure way not to be de-indexed
