What is Spray Foam Insulation?
Spray foam insulation is polyurethane foam created when 2 materials, isocyanate and polyol resin are combined together. When these two chemicals are combined together they form an exothermic reaction which expand the form to between 30-200 times its size depending on whether its open cell or closed cell spray foam. Polyurethane is a wildly used product used in many household products, upholstery filling, soundproofing in cars, and even in Durex.
